FAQs!
We are always happy to help our patrons, but there are some services we cannot provide at the library, including,
- Legal, financial, or medical assistance,
- Social services or referrals,
- Transcription or design services,
- Content creation,
- Completing forms on paper or online,
- Troubleshooting electronic devices,
- And any other services not consistent with NLRPLS policies.
Passport and notary services are still only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Appointments can only be booked about a single topic, so feel free to book multiple appointments!
Staff members can accommodate one additional person per appointment, provided the topic is the same for both people. Group bookings such as tours will need to be scheduled in advance using our Outreach form. For more information about our Outreach policies, please click here.
Yes! Our staff is always happy to answer questions at the front desk, but reserving us in advance means you have our undivided attention, especially if you have multiple questions.
Please bring any devices or materials that are relevant to your question. Children must be supervised during the appointment.

We would love to hear your suggestions! You can share your suggestion with us at the front desk or email LSchmidt@nlrlibrary.org. There is also a space to suggest appointment topics on the post-appointment survey.
If you will be late or will miss your appointment, please notify us by phone at 501-687-1061 or by email to bhedges@nlrlibrary.org. Staff members may move onto other tasks or assist other patrons if you are more than 15 minutes late. Repeated missed appointments may result in suspension of appointment privileges.
