What's New on NLRlibrary.org: A Guide to Our Updated Website Navigation
The North Little Rock Public Library System has reorganized its website header to make it easier to find events, services, digital resources, and more.
Noticed some changes to our website? We’ve been making some small improvements to update our webpages and improve your experience with nlrlibrary.org. The biggest change is the reorganization of our header, which is the blue bar at the top of the page. Here’s a rundown of how things are organized and how you can find the information you need!
About Us
Want to learn about what the library does, where you can find us, and how you can get involved? Head to the About Us tab! You can do things like learn about our history and policies, sign up for a library card online, and get more information about our locations. At the bottom of the first column is a link to our Contact Us page. If you have any questions, that page is your guide to all the ways you can get in touch with us.
Events
Hosting events is one of our favorite ways to connect with our patrons, and now there are new ways to explore the fun events we host every day we’re open. Check out the Today’s Events column for a quick rundown of all the fun we have going on today. Interested in learning about events for specific ages? Check out our Events by Age columns! These homepages feature unique services in each department and several events we’re extra excited about. You can also learn about our book clubs and special events like Garden Fest and Summer Library Adventure.
Services
Libraries have been reinventing and reinvigorating themselves, and NLRPLS is no different. Explore our unique services and offerings using our Services tab. Learn about how we provide individual assistance with the How Can We Help? column, look through Unique Spaces to learn about areas like the Makerspaces and the Genealogy Room, and browse the Check It Out! column to see how you can check out a variety of items using your library card.
Digital Library
NLRPLS’s collection goes beyond our books, movies, and music. The library facilitates access to electronic books, audiobooks, streaming movies and music, and databases completely for free. For links to local agencies and businesses, check out our Resources for Residents page, and for a rundown of all our databases, click on Explore Our Databases.
Notice something amiss? Having trouble finding a resource you need? Contact the library by stopping by or calling our numbers anytime we’re open, or use the Contact Us form 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We want our website to be a helpful resource for you, and we’re happy to help however we can. Thanks for being part of the North Little Rock library community, and we hope to see you at the library soon!
